Biography
Md. Maruf Hossain Shuvo is a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Texas at El Paso. His research interests include machine learning, biomedical signal and image analysis, integrated circuit design, deep learning, edge intelligence, and biomedical electronics. Previously, he served as a Lecturer and Assistant Professor in the Electronics and Communication Engineering Department at Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET), Bangladesh, from 2015 to 2019. Dr. Shuvo was the recipient of the University Gold Medal from KUET, the Prime Minister's Gold Medal from the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh, and the Outstanding Ph.D. Student Award from the College of Engineering, University of Missouri.

Md Rifatul Islam is a doctoral student in the Electrical and Computer Engineering program. He completed a B.Sc. degree in Mechatronics and Industrial Engineering from Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET), Bangladesh, in 2022. His research interests include applied machine learning, computer vision, multimodal generative AI, and edge AI for developing intelligent biomedical solutions.
Ruben J Rivera, is a senior undergraduate student in the Computer Engineering program. His research interests include machine learning, healthcare AI, and edge AI.
